Changes in the Internet Service Provider (ISP) allows us to host more Domains.
Recent upgrades to the local infrastructure allowed Kelley Computerservices to upgrade their old business DSL line to a new higher speed ISP. The difference in speed will allow Kelley Computerservices to service more domains. Kelley Computer Services.
Normally, a domain on the Internet has to serve more than one user. Imagine for a moment that ten people request a page from exampledomain.net. That means the company that hosts exampledomain.net has to be able to handle the volume. The speed of their Internet Service Provider become vital to their ability to handle the requests of those ten people .
In the last year, Kelley Computer Services realized that we had reached a point with our ISP that we could not handle too many requests because of the speed of our ISP provider, A.T.&T. However, they recently brought in U-Verse to our area which gives us three times the upload speed of our old business DSL for one third the cost. Even better, if we find ourselves running out of speed to handle domain requests, we can upgrade our U-Verse plan to three times faster than we currently purchase from U-Verse. Bottom Line, we can do more with less. Wow, wish the government would learn that lesson.

Last minute save of the Candlehouse, Teen Challenge, Inc., domain
Last year, due to a dropped email address, Candlehouse did not get the renewal notice for their domain. We we went out to work on their network in August, Brooks found that their domain was still available. He quickly purchased it through GoDaddy.com.
The lesson is that when you purchase a domain, make sure that the email address you have with the hosting company remains current.
Because of how many domains Kelley Computer Services hosts, they have set their hosting company to email them once a month with current domain status for each of their important accounts. If you wish them to do the same for you, give them a call.
